Monkey see...Monkey do...Monkey get in trouble too!
Tim and I had an interesting call from daycare a couple days ago. Apparently, Logan and one of his little friends decided to relieve themselves in the sandbox at school...not once, but twice! Logan has never been allowed to pee outside, nor has he ever seen something like that (to our knowledge). Granted, he is a 4 year old boy and they will do crazy things. It was all Tim and I could do to not laugh when we got the call. The consequences of his actions were two things 1) call mom and 2) the administrator said he could not go outside to play with his class in the afternoon. After we got done with the phone call she walked him back to his room. His class was gone so she took him to the adjoining room. They were getting ready to go out and play. The admin said to Logan that they had to find another room to go to because he wasn't allowed back out. He proceeded to say that this was not his class, so he could go out because she had said he couldn't go out with HIS class!!!!! She decided he was right...he called her on it, so he got to play outside with that class. I think we have a little lawyer on our hands!

Not much to report this week...I suppose that can be a good thing! The boys are getting bigger...what else is new? Just to show that, I have posted Devyn's 4 month pictures. He was so good during the photo session. The photographer couldn't believe how good he is and how much he smiles. I think these are photo contest worthy...don't you?!

Happy Independence Day Weekend!
I don't know about you, but we had a ball this weekend! Saturday we headed out to my mom and dad's (that was just yesterday, but it seems so long ago!). We had dinner and laid pretty low. Logan played outside for a bit before dinner.
We got up pretty early this morning and all got ready to head out to my grandma's house. I baked (yes, please stop laughing) an AMAZING lemon cooler cake and made my typical pasta salad since I still can't eat dairy and knew it would be slim pickings for me at the table. The lemon cake was awesome. It is a jello poke cake. Mom and I tried to think of different variations we could make with it. I think I might try a strawberry one soon and maybe even chocolate cherry. Anyhow, we ate a marvelous lunch and then came the parade... Logan and his cousins sat right in the front on grandma's yard with bags in hand ready to catch the candy launched at them. A couple floats had popsicles to throw and one even had ice cold milk...gotta love it! The parade lasted about an hour and a half. The kids had a ball. We then went over to my aunt's house for the kids to go swimming. We went back to mom and dad's for baths and then hit the road. Both kids zonked out before we even hit the halfway mark home. What a great day!

Dinner time
Well, it was actually ni-night time. Devyn had gotten the idea that it was to his advantage to wake up multiple times a night again like when he was a couple days old. We discussed this and determined mom needs more sleep than that. So, I won and he tried cereal in a bottle. Big brother got a kick out of feeding him. Devyn absolutely does not like the cereal though. Not sure what we are going to do. He slept through the night last night, but I think that is because he had a long day at school painting! :)
