It's officially summer...

Willy Waterbug made it's way out, so summer is officially here folks! It's funny, Willy was mine when I was little. So this is an old bug that has made it many miles and many summers. Logan had a blast with Willy yesterday. As you can see, Logan had a lot of fun in the sun.

Zoo 2009

Well, we had our first trip to the zoo this summer. Logan had a zoo class so my mom took him to class while Devyn and I toodled around the zoo. We had a grand ol' time jumping from one shady spot to another so he wouldn't have to be covered by the stroller canopy or blanket. We liked the spot by the elephants the best. Lots of shade and a little less crowded. The zoo was absolutely packed. Anyhow, Logan and grandma enjoyed learning about Hippos. As you can see by the picture, they make crafts that make them look like the animals. Devyn sure had a fun time watching the world go by while big brother played. I hope we get back there a couple more times this summer. We just love the zoo.

Dedication

We had the boys dedicated at church on May 31. It was pastor's last service at the church before moving so it was important to us to get this in. The pictures are a little fuzzy, but it was jam packed in there. The service was very nice and the dedication was very special. You can't see it in the pictures, but the boys wore matching outfits. Logan, of course, had to show off up there. Devyn just hung out and was smiling away.

It's about time!

Boy, it's about time I update this! I went back to work on the 18th of May. It has been a crazy month. You will be happy to know that I didn't have to buy any new pants for work! Yeah me!

Devyn and Logan are doing well in school. Devyn is all smiles at school, his teachers and friends just love it!

We are slowly getting into a routine at home. I get up at the crack of dawn and still don't have time to work out. I do at least 1 or 2 loads of laundry a day. (how 4 people can create that much laundry I will never know) When I get up I get myself ready, make my lunch, get my stuff together for work and then get Devyn up, feed him, dress him, etc. Then it's Logan's turn. Tim typically helps get Logan ready in the morning if I have to feed Devyn. Needless to say I get up early and go to bed late. I figure sleep is highly over rated and I will try it again in about 18 years.

With that being said...off to bed.
